Homemade hair masks
TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR AT HOME WITH HOMEMADE MASKS
The path to long, shiny and healthy-looking hair is not always easy. Especially when there are so many temptations around us. We want straight hair when we have curly hair. Light hair when we have dark hair and the other way round. Sometimes, just a few of these color changes and hot interventions with a sprinkle of improper care and we can weaken or completely destroy the hair. Do they fall out? Have they lost their shine and volume? Were they once firmer and more supple?
HOW TO FIX IT?
It mainly requires patience and precision. In the first place are certainly products that won't weigh hair down or dry out our hair in any way, but on the contrary – will provide them with the necessary nourishment and hydration. It is certainly important not to forget nutrition in the form of a varied diet, vitamins, minerals, fiber, proteins, etc. The largest part of our body is made up of water, so I cannot fail to mention the drinking regime, which forms the basis of all of this. The growth, shine and structure of hair depends mainly on a healthy, well-perfused, flexible and hydrated scalp.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DESTROY YOUR HAIR MECHANICALLY OR CHEMICALLY?
When the hair is damaged, the upper part (cuticle) is ruined. While it cannot be completely restored, it can be strengthened. We will strengthen it most effectively with the help of natural products, wraps and masks. Especially with proper care. Our hair is mostly made up of a protein called keratin, and the rest is made up of water, amino acids and other building materials.
HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR HAIR?
One of the other plus ways is the regular use of a nutritional supplement Daily Ritual, which in addition to of other ingredients contains the exceptional ingredient keratin. But it is good to know that keratin only reaches a certain length of our hair (10–15 cm). If your hair is longer, you can certainly imagine very well what it is subjected to on a daily basis. They rub against each other, electrify, catch, break. They are dried out and literally lack life.
WHAT ABOUT THAT? HOW TO IMPROVE IT? HOW TO SAVE THEM?
With all-day hydration, inside and out! If you observe any of the above factors, you are in the right place! I recommend daily and year-round use of hydrating leave in conditioner. Whether it's winter, summer, frost! In addition to all-day hydration, it is also effective to use hydrating or protein masks.
HOW CAN THE ANDREINE MASKS BE USED?
Masks from ANDREINE line of cosmetics can be used either after shampooing the lengths, separately as a wrap, or as one of the ingredients for homemade wraps. If you don't know what mask your hair currently needs and which is the most suitable for you, don't hesitate to visit Hair Therapy Salon and learn more, whether about your skin or your hair type. It is very important to know your skin and your hair. Knowing what to use for them and what not. Another way you can enrich your crown of beauty with the necessary nutrition is, for example, oil wraps, herbal wraps or homemade masks.
Homemade masks are a cheap but effective method and that's why I bring you various recipes, which I am sure you'll love as much as I do. I also add a spoonful of one of my masks and oils to each homemade wrap, which is why I will mention them in the following recipes.
DON'T FORGET! IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
- It is important to adjust the amount of the wrap and ingredients according to your length and density of hair.
- The consistency should be creamy, not too liquid. For wraps with white yogurt, I recommend using Greek yogurt (it has the most suitable consistency).
- All homemade wraps must be applied to pre-moistened, wrung-out hair.
- Leave it on for 30–60 minutes.
- Pack in a plastic cap or foil.
- When washing, make sure to rinse thoroughly.
- First, wash everything well with lukewarm water and then twice with shampoo (after washing, use reasonably warm).
Wraps should be applied 1–2x a month.
If you would like to give your hair extra care and hydration, I recommend reading my article on herbal dressings, which you can also find on my website andreine.com in the section Hints and tips.
Not all of the following wraps are suitable for all hair types. Before choosing a wrap, think about the specific type of hair you have.
I mainly mention the products of my Andreine brand because I have gone through a lot of tests myself. As for hair products. I learned a lot, and therefore I can definitely recommend my products, because I myself individually and over a long period of time selected the ingredients that will fulfill the expected purpose with regular and long-term use.
