Medicinal Plants: Treasures from Nature for Hair Health
Medicinal plants are a natural part of human history, as evidenced by many archaeological finds. The collection and preparation of medicinal and aromatic plants allow us to understand and preserve the origin of herbalism in folk tradition.
Our grandmothers always said that the herbs we would need most during the year would grow around the house by themselves. This wisdom reminds us how important it is to be attentive to nature and its gifts.
Herbal Rinses: Natural Hair Care
Herbal rinses are a simple and accessible way to provide hair with hydration, shine, nourishment, strength, and elasticity. They also help with skin and autoimmune diseases such as:
- Alopecia
- Psoriasis
- Seborrheic dermatitis
Herbs promote hair growth, regulate sebum production, and help maintain a healthy scalp. However, when using them, it is important to know which plants are suitable for specific problems.
How to prepare an herbal rinse?
- Choose herbs according to the problem (fresh or dried).
- Pour boiled water over them and add a few drops of oil.
- Let cool and strain.
- After washing your hair, pour the rinse over your scalp and hair. Do not wash it out.
Tip: Plan your herb collection according to their season. Only parts with active substances are collected (roots, aerial parts, flowers, leaves, seeds, or fruits).
