DIY Natural Hair Treatments for Different Scalp & Hair Problems
Medicinal plants are a natural part of human history. Their use is also evidenced by many archaeological findings. By collecting and processing medicinal and aromatic plants, we can understand and preserve the origins of herbalism in folk traditions.
Herbal dressings are easily available options for additional hair nutrition. With their nourishing abilities, they can enrich the hair with hydration, shine, nutrition, strength and elasticity. They are a good helper for skin diseases and autoimmune diseases such as alopecia, psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis. They support hair growth and help reduce sebum production in the sebaceous glands. As with oils, it is necessary to know which herbs to use for specific problems or intentions. It is not at all difficult to find and prepare herbal dressing. The easiest way is to buy herbal teas at a pharmacy or organic store. You can also collect them - as long as you know how where to search and when to search. Only parts with active substances are collected. Sometimes it is roots, rhizomes and bulbs, other times it is fennel, leaves, flowers, seeds or fruits.
Our grandmothers always said that the herbs we will need the most during the year will grow by themselves around the house. As for herbal dressings, I recommend applying them no more than once a week. It should not be forgotten that not every herb and not every oil is beneficial for a specific type of scalp. If you want to learn more information about oils, be sure to read the article about hair porosity and oil use.
However, if you would like to leave the diagnosis of your hair (or scalp) to the experts, I recommend a visit in Hairtherapy studio, where during the entire examination, we do a consultation and choose which combinations of products, oils, dressings or treatments are most suitable for you.

How to prepare the dressing?
Mix an appropriate amount of herbs in a bowl. Cover with boiled water. We can add a few drops of oil. Let cool and drain. At the end of washing, pour over the skin and hair. Then we don't wash anymore. Herbs contain many vitamins and proteins. They are beneficial for both hair and skin. But don't think that the vitamins we can get from herbs, plants and nature are equal to the dose of vitamins our body needs to strengthen our hair and heal our skin.
Daily Ritual dietary supplement, which I have already told you about several times , contains absolutely EVERYTHING that can strengthen your body, hair, digestion and health. So I recommend reading the article about what does the Daily Ritual cause in our body and what specific ingredients affect. It is still only a dietary supplement, so a balanced must not be missing diet, drinking regime, enough sleep and psychological well-being. I wrote about this too - read how to eat properly , so that the hair also benefits.
The herbal formulas we have created are comprehensively formulated to prevent the given scalp and hair problem. You can mix herbs in different ways, but you should never forget the given ratio of different herbs, which could be eliminated by their effects.
However, the most important thing is to know your scalp and hair type. If you are wondering what kind of herbs to use, whether to choose fresh or dried, it should be noted that it depends on the herb itself. By drying the herbs, all the beneficial substances in them are preserved, which also extends their storage.
For example, fresh mint has stronger moisturizing or cooling effects, you will rarely encounter dried mint. If you buy herbs in a pharmacy or organic shop, they will mostly be dried. If you pluck them yourself fresh in the garden, you can also combine them. Nature provides us with everything for our health, we just have to figure out how to use it properly.
